Successful handover of ALTO project in Zurich-Altstetten

HRS Real Estate AG has successfully handed over the ALTO project at Freihofstrasse 23, 25, and 25a in Zurich-Altstetten to the client HIAG Immobilien Schweiz AG.

Designed by pool Architekten Genossenschaft, Zurich, the project combines modern living space with a wide range of possible uses. The development focuses on rental apartments, complemented by commercial space and retail space on the ground floor of the historic Shedhalle. This creates an attractive mix of uses that will revitalize the neighborhood in the long term.

The construction period for the project will run from July 2023 to February 2026. With a building volume of around 77,408 m³, a floor area of over 23,000 m² and total costs of around CHF 78 million, ALTO is one of the most significant construction projects in Zurich-Altstetten.

The residential high-rise with a PV facade, which was built between two existing buildings and makes a striking contribution to the urban development of the area, is particularly architecturally distinctive.

As the total contractor, HRS Real Estate AG was responsible for the implementation of the project, ensuring that costs, quality, and deadlines were met throughout all project phases.
