A milestone on the road to a sustainable and innovative future
On 25 April 2024, in the presence of the municipal and cantonal authorities, HRS celebrated an historic moment with the laying of the foundation stone for Tilia in Prilly. After the official ceremony, guests were treated to Food Truck stands in a warm atmosphere, hosted by the Ecole de Jazz et de Musique Actuelle de Lausanne (EJMA).
Offering a breathtaking view of the city from its 85-metre height, this tower will be exemplary from an energy point of view. In fact, it will incorporate wood into its structure and the thermal energy will be exchanged directly with the subsoil using energy geostructures and a geothermal probe field 380 metres deep. Its mixed use makes it a symbol of sustainability and modernity for the west of Lausanne.
This bold architectural project promises to add a contemporary touch to the urban skyline, while offering innovative spaces for working, living and leisure.
We would like to express our gratitude to the project owner, Insula SA, for its confidence.
