HRS recently submitted the building application for the planned "Chez Fritz" high-rise to the town of Buchs. The handover took place before the cantonal appeal decision on the special use plan. The submission of the building application is intended to make up time, as the legal proceedings have been dragging on for years because of the same objections.
According to the estimates of those involved, the cantonal authorities should decide on the appeal in the next few weeks. After the approval of the electorate in 2016, the "new start" due to the new St. Gallen Planning and Building Act and the legal proceedings, this would be another important milestone on the way to the early realisation of this project.
HRS is pleased that the HILTI Group has expressed its interest in using a larger area of the "Chez Fritz" high-rise for offices in the longer term.
