Successful topping-out ceremony for the aprentas training centre

Yesterday, on 4 February, the topping-out ceremony for the BusinessCity Polyfeld – Building 2 project in Muttenz took place.

With the shell of the building already completed at the end of September 2025, this important milestone was celebrated in the future workshop with 180 attendees, including tradespeople, the planners involved, the building owners Suva and aprentas, and the HRS project team.

The new aprentas training centre building brings together the three existing aprentas training centres in one location. The six-storey building is the centre for training and further education in scientific, technical and commercial professions for the sponsoring company Novartis and over 90 member companies. Young people are trained in thirteen different professions in modern laboratories, workshops and classrooms.

In their speeches, Kaspar Lo Presti (Suva) and Nicole Koch and Konrad Bruttel (aprentas) thanked all the tradespeople and everyone involved in the project for their work so far and wished everyone continued accident-free construction. Erkan Ates thanked the building owners for their trust and all the tradespeople and planners for their commitment.
