First artistic event at Concorde

On Thursday 19 September, the Espace Culturel Concorde in Vernier celebrated a key milestone with the laying of the foundation stone ceremony, attended by the Vice-President of the Geneva State Council, responsible for the Department of Social Cohesion (DCS), Mr Thierry Apothéloz, as well as municipal representatives and all those involved in the project.
This landmark event was accompanied by a musical performance by the Orchestre de Chambre de Genève and a performance by the Compagnie de danse 7273, symbolising the artistic diversity that the future centre will host.
The festivities continued with an aperitif dinner, bringing together artists, partners and elected representatives in a convivial atmosphere. It was a fitting way to launch this ambitious project, which aims to transform the local and regional cultural scene.
HRS would like to extend its warmest thanks to the project owner, La Fondation pour le développement des Arts et de la Culture (FODAC), for its confidence, and to the project team for organising the event and its commitment.
