Around eighty invited guests attended the official ceremony to mark the laying of the foundation stone for the Bern Police Centre today.
President of the Government Council Christoph Neuhaus, Director of Construction and Transport, and Government Councillor Philippe Müller, Director of Security, emphasised the importance of the new building, which brings together nine decentralised locations, for modern and efficient police work in the canton of Bern. Rebecca Kull, owner and COO of HRS, explained how HRS will tackle the project as a total contractor with the passion that characterises the company.
The upcoming work is expected to take three years, with the opening planned for 2028.
