A new centre for innovative learning in the digital age is being established at the University of St. Gallen. The building consists of several cubes arranged in a grid, which are between 3.5 and 18.5 metres high. Inside, modular building elements, which are acoustically and visually connected to each other, enable the building to be adapted to the respective didactic needs such as panel discussions, courses or examinations. The new learning centre creates space for 500 to 700 learning and workstations. A new construction site video shows the great progress made since the laying of the foundation stone in June: 80 percent of the structural work has been completed, 5000 of 6000 cubic metres of concrete have been used.
