Today, the Mainauhof Zürich project was successfully handed over to the client.
The corner building, originally constructed in the 1950s, was designed for commercial use.
Thanks to the addition of an extra floor and the conversion of the upper levels, nine attractive rental apartments of varying sizes have been created in Zurich’s Seefeld district.
The three large dormers on the street side define the building’s silhouette above the original roofline.
They bring daylight into both the new attic floor and the rooms on the fourth floor.
A cozy and furnished rooftop terrace is available for the residents.
The two lower floors remain in shell construction for future commercial use.
Energy is generated without fossil fuels, thanks to an air-source heat pump, and the project has been awarded the SNBS Gold certification.
HRS would like to thank the client UBS for their trust, as well as all the contractors involved for their dedication in bringing this project to life.
