Residential and commercial development on the «Manor» site

Last March, the department store group «Manor» announced that it would close its retail location in Sargans over the course of the coming year. As the «Manor» department store is situated in a central location in the municipality of Sargans and occupies a considerable area, including a large car park, the question arose as to how this site should be used in the future.

As part of a developer/investor tender conducted by the property owner, HRS was awarded the site and has concluded the corresponding purchase agreement. HRS is therefore now responsible for all planning and construction activities on the site.

According to the current planning status, residential buildings with generous green and open spaces, as well as commercial areas, are to be developed on the current «Manor» site. A special land-use plan will be prepared for this purpose and will be subject to public participation.
