Afiro

In Ecublens, Afiro is a modern and versatile commercial building that combines functionality, sustainability, and social integration. The building was specifically designed to meet the needs of various work and training environments and offers flexible spaces for production, services, and administration.

Spanning three levels, the new building brings together various uses under one roof—including a bakery, mechanical workshops, a laundry, multifunctional workspaces, communal areas, and administrative spaces. The facility is complemented by a publicly accessible tea room that serves as a gathering place and underscores the project’s open character.

Particular attention was paid to sustainability and future-oriented building technology. The building meets the Minergie-P-ECO standard and incorporates modern solutions such as photovoltaic systems, pellet heating, and triple-glazed windows. Additionally, the project was consistently planned and implemented using BIM.

The clean architectural design, high-quality materials, and efficient organization of the spaces create a modern facility offering a high quality of life and work.
