b_smart Hotel

On plot B of the Saurer WerkZwei site in Arbon, just 400 meters from the train station and about four kilometers from the A1 motorway, the "b_smart Hotel" was built, marking another milestone in the development of the former factory site. The seven-story, street-facing hotel building offers a splendid view of Lake Constance. The ground floor houses a bar, a restaurant, and a seminar room; the six upper floors comprise 63 rooms, while the top floor additionally features fitness and wellness areas. The hotel is operated by the Liechtenstein-based company b_smart selection, which already runs 18 hotels and motels at various locations.

An adjacent building with 18 condominiums and a shared underground parking garage complete the development; the "Lakeside" development, also built by HRS, is located nearby. The architecture was designed by BauWerk | Architektur und Raumplanungs AG, Arbon.

As general contractor with a full guarantee on cost, quality, and schedule, HRS Real Estate AG delivered the project.

With a building volume of 9,718 m³, a plot area of 567 m², and a floor area of 2,954 m² (main usable area: 2,416 m²), construction ran from December 2021 to December 2023.
