Bombach

The Bombach project in Zurich replaced an existing housing development from the 1950s with a modern, forward-looking complex. Five new apartment buildings with a total of 161 units were constructed on the site, along with complementary amenities such as a kindergarten, a daycare center, commercial spaces, and office and practice spaces. This has created a vibrant neighborhood that ideally combines living, working, and socializing.

Special attention was paid to creating an attractive and sustainable living environment. Generous green spaces and open areas, high-quality outdoor facilities, and a well-thought-out architectural design enhance residents’ quality of life and strengthen the neighborhood’s identity. Built to the Minergie standard, the development also meets high standards for energy efficiency and sustainability and makes an important contribution to sustainable urban development.

As the general contractor, HRS Real Estate AG was responsible for the project’s execution and ensured its timely, high-quality, and cost-effective implementation. The phased execution during the multi-year construction period required precise planning and coordination among all parties involved. With Bombach, a modern residential neighborhood has been created that meets today’s demands for urban living while simultaneously generating long-term added value for the city of Zurich and its residents.
