The construction project involved the new building of highly specialized technical and infrastructure facilities, including a new access and circulation core on the existing manufacturing site. This new development serves as the backbone for a future-proof, highly reliable plant infrastructure at the Schaffhausen site.

The architecture of the multi-story structure features a clean, functional aesthetic. A light-colored facade with continuous ribbon glazing and ventilation louvers integrates seamlessly into the surrounding industrial park while fulfilling strict physical and thermal protection requirements. The interior layout is tailored specifically to house heavy mechanical engineering plant equipment, electrical switchgear, and complex HVAC systems. Connecting the new technical spaces and circulation hubs was achieved while pharmaceutical manufacturing operations remained fully active on site.
