The Claridenstrasse 40 project in Zurich involved the comprehensive modernization and technical upgrade of an existing residential and commercial building. The renovation aimed to ensure the property’s long-term appeal and functionality while meeting the requirements of modern work and living spaces. As part of the work, the facade, windows, and all building services were comprehensively renovated. In addition, the floors were stripped back to the shell to allow for the flexible and contemporary redesign of the office spaces. New subfloors, gypsum cooling ceilings, and modern wet rooms create high-quality work environments with a high level of user comfort. In addition, an extra penthouse apartment was built, which sensibly expands the building’s usage concept and creates additional living space in a central location.

The renovation combines architectural enhancement, technical modernization, and the sustainable redevelopment of the existing building structure. Through this comprehensive renovation, the property was not only visually enhanced but also improved in terms of energy efficiency, functionality, and long-term value retention.

HRS Real Estate AG executed the project as the general contractor and assumed overall responsibility for its successful implementation.
