Dock B conversion

The conversion of Finger Dock B at Zurich Airport has created a versatile event space with a unique atmosphere and a high quality of stay. The new meeting hub was specifically designed to appeal not only to travelers but also to visitors not flying, offering an attractive venue for events, exhibitions, corporate functions, and gatherings. By repositioning the existing infrastructure, a space was created that combines functionality, flexibility, and a unique airport setting.

A central element of the project is the newly constructed walkway, which provides access to the tower while offering impressive views of the tarmac. The immediate proximity to flight operations gives the Event Dock a distinctive character and creates an experience that goes far beyond conventional venues. Spacious areas, an open floor plan, and the unique location make the center an attractive meeting place for a wide variety of uses.

HRS Real Estate AG served as the general contractor responsible for the successful completion of the renovation. From planning through to completion, HRS ensured adherence to budget, quality, and schedule and coordinated all project stakeholders. The project exemplifies how existing infrastructure can be given new functions and enhanced in the long term through sustainable and future-oriented repurposing. The Event-Dock has created a modern venue and meeting place that enriches Zurich Airport with an additional, attractive option for use.
