Grancy 39 Administration Building

The Grancy 39 project in Lausanne (VD) involved the comprehensive renovation of an existing administrative and commercial building to make it fit for the future. As part of a complete overhaul and extensive renovation, the nine-story building was brought up to modern standards both technically and architecturally.

A particular highlight is the redesign of the roof areas with the creation of two private rooftop terraces, which provide added value for users and offer attractive recreational spaces in an urban setting.

Significant measures were also implemented underground: The two-story underground parking garage, with a total of 86 parking spaces, was completely renovated and adapted to meet current requirements.

The project posed significant challenges in terms of planning and coordination, particularly due to its location in a dense urban environment with limited space. Nevertheless, the result is a project that optimally combines functionality, quality, and modern work environments.

Grancy 39 serves as an exemplary demonstration of how existing buildings can be sustainably upgraded and repositioned for the long term through targeted interventions.
