Green Datacenter AG

The construction of Green Datacenter AG’s new facility in Lupfig has created a state-of-the-art, high-performance infrastructure for the secure processing and storage of digital data. The project combines a state-of-the-art data center with an integrated office building, thereby creating optimal conditions for the operation of critical IT systems as well as for efficient collaboration among employees. As a technologically sophisticated specialized structure, the building sets new standards in terms of availability, security, and future-proofing.

The planning and construction of the data center placed high demands on architecture, building services, and execution. In addition to the high-availability server and technical areas, modern office spaces for approximately 220 workstations were created. All building components were designed for maximum operational reliability, energy efficiency, and flexibility to meet the long-term requirements of a dynamic digital infrastructure.

Particular attention was paid to the precise coordination of the complex technical systems as well as the reliable implementation of high safety and quality standards. The combination of high-performance building services, robust construction, and future-oriented infrastructure forms the basis for the sustainable and economical operation of the site.

HRS carried out the project as the general planner and general contractor, assuming overall responsibility for planning, coordination, and execution. Thanks to close collaboration with the client and consistent management of costs, quality, and schedules, a forward-looking technology and infrastructure site was successfully realized.
