Lugano
PSE Lugano is a central element in the transformation of the new Cornaredo district. It consists of four sub-projects, the centerpiece and worthy conclusion of which will be the football stadium for 10,000 spectators. The Palazzetto dello Sport, a hall for sports and music events, administrative facilities, commercial space and apartments will also be part of the project. The project is unique in terms of its inter-municipal project organization and supports the regional development strategy in the Lugano area, particularly with regard to the new regional policy. It also makes a not insignificant contribution to the coordination between spatial development and cantonal regional policy.
