St. Clara Hospital

On the Claraspital (hospital) site, the existing Hirzbrunnenhaus was replaced with a new four-storey building. In addition to a contemporary operating department with eight operating theatres, the new building comprises two wards, a central sterilisation unit and a parking area with a fully automatic parking system. In addition, the radiology, nuclear medicine and pharmacy areas were rebuilt and upgraded. The entire project was planned and implemented using the BIM method.

An innovative settlement model was chosen for the realisation of the CHF 140 million project: HRS, as the implementation partner, carried out the construction within a defined cost framework. As an incentive, there was a bonus if the project objectives were achieved and also for high-quality, cost-effective and hospital-friendly work. The Hirzbrunnenhaus was handed over to HRS in October 2017. The finished building is scheduled to be handed over to Claraspital in October 2019.
