Mägenwil

Swiss Post distribution base

The Post distribution center in Mägenwil is a key logistics hub for regional mail services and plays a vital role in the efficient delivery of letters and packages in the eastern part of the canton of Aarau. The construction of this modern distribution center has created the ideal conditions for meeting the growing demands on logistics, distribution processes, and operational efficiency over the long term.

The building was designed specifically to meet the needs of a high-performance postal operation. Modern handling and processing areas, efficient delivery zones, and a functional operational organization enable smooth logistics processes and short turnaround times. The architecture combines operational requirements with a clear and timeless design while creating high-quality working conditions for employees.

Particular attention was paid to cost-effective and sustainable implementation. Through the precise coordination of planning, construction, and operational use, an infrastructure was created that meets both current requirements and future developments in the logistics sector. The modern distribution hub strengthens regional supply security and contributes to the efficiency of the nationwide postal network.

HRS carried out the project as the general contractor and assumed overall responsibility for planning and execution. Thanks to efficient project organization and strict adherence to cost, quality, and schedule targets, the distribution center was successfully completed and put into operation on schedule.
