Talwies Kindergarten

The Talwies Kindergarten project involved the careful conversion of an existing, historically protected commercial building to give it a new, socially valuable purpose. The conversion created modern, child-friendly spaces for a kindergarten and a daycare center in the heart of Winterthur.

Particular attention was paid to integrating the historic building structure with contemporary requirements for educational and childcare facilities. The newly created spaces offer a bright, friendly, and functional environment that provides optimal conditions for learning, playing, and the children’s development.

HRS took on the construction management and coordinated the challenging implementation of the conversion from planning through to completion. The result is a successful project that preserves the building’s historic character while creating modern spaces for childcare and education.
